{Look Book} Cranberry & Poppies

Dress: c/o eShakti, Necklace: c/o Kevia Blush Necklace (also worn here, here and here),
Tights: Hansel from Basel via Anthropologie Poppy-Printed Tights, Shoes: Target Melinda Wedge

I was thrilled when eShakti offered me a dress from their new Fall collection to offer a review.  This is my second dress from eShakti and I am equally impressed with their quality and styles as I was with my past experience.  If you haven't heard of eShakti before, it's a pretty amazing concept.  Along with offering a beautiful selection of ready-to-wear dress, skirts and blouses, you have the option to customize any piece from their website.  You can change the length, sleeve or collar to suit your style and flatter your body perfectly.  And all of this is offered at a very modest price.  This dress that I am wearing I choose not to customize.  I love that the shape is very classic and feminine, with a cute v-detail on the back that gives a special touch.  The color is perfect for Fall and for the holidays and I could see accessorizing this in many different ways, from casual looks to formal occasions.  The quality is outstanding!  The fabric is soft and has a nice weight and the dress is fully lined.  I'm very impressed with eShakti and recommend them without hesitation.  If you register on their site, you will get $20 off your first order.

Past Cool Weather Favorites

We are already enjoying the crisp days of Autumn, and before we know it we will be cozying up to the chillier days of Winter.  I thought I'd peek back at some of my favorite cool weather looks from last year.

I am excited about the beginning of Fall, and yet I am sad to say good-bye to Summer.  There are so many things that I love about each season, and when the seasons change I get very emotional.  I find it bittersweet to bid farewell to Summer, and yet I am so giddy about the joys of Fall.  Each season has it's beauties and wonders and I can honestly say I don't have a favorite, I truly LOVE them all.  Spring brings butterflies, birds and gardens.  Summer brings BBQ's with friends, beach days, and pool parties.  Fall brings wonderful scents and flavors, cozy clothes and pumpkin patches.  Winter brings the magic of the holidays, the scent of pine, and visits to the snow.  I try to enjoy the blessings and new beginnings of each season, but sometimes I feel they pass by so quickly, it's hard to take it all in.  That's why this Fall I decided to make some goals.  I sat down with my children and we worked on the goals together.  I'm going to make this a new tradition in our household, so that we will acknowledge and embrace each season as they come.  And we will be sure not to miss out of the little goodies that each season brings.

Dress: Max & Cleo via StitchFix, Necklace: c/o Kevia Blush Necklace, Tights: Hue (Similar), Shoes: Old, Handbag: Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Karlie

Happy Monday friends!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  We had a great weekend.  We didn't have any big plans, so we decided to have a last minute BBQ and invite some of our neighbors over.  It was a nice, warm evening filled with wonderful friends, tasty food and drinks.  It was a perfect way to welcome Fall.  I am looking forward to the cooler days of Fall, but for now I'm happy to enjoy the sunshine while I can.

This dress is from my latest StitchFix box.  This round I decided not to take pictures of everything I got in my Fix, but I will be sharing the goodies that I kept.  I totally love this dress!  The color and the print are so striking and unique and I think it will be a great dress to transition from Summer to Fall.

1 Carmindy Dress, 2 Alexis Bittar, 3 Perlina, 4 Shimmered Loop, 5 Orly, 6 Pointed Cutout Wedge,  7 Moretown Jacket

It's no secret that my favorite color of the season is wine.  It's so rich and warm and quite simply the perfect Fall color.  All of these pieces I would love to wear this Fall.  If I could be dressed in wine from head to toe, I would!  I've selected all of these pieces on ShopStyle.  If you haven't been to ShopStyle before, it's such a fun website to explore and discover trends and beautiful fashions.  I love it because if you're looking for a particular color or style, it's super simple because there are so many designers and companies all in one place.  I also love that I can create a wishlist of the things I'm wishing for and I can sign up for Sale Alerts and be emailed when my favorite brands go on sale.  What are some of your Fall favorites?
